Please note that there is a $1,000.00 scholarship available from the Connecticut State College University Foundation. The scholarship was created in 2000 in memory of Ted. It is available only to children of a Connecticut State Building Trades member. It is only available for attendance at Eastern, Western, Southern, or Central State Universities. The deadline for applications is May 3, 2019.
If any members have graduating seniors who are planning on attending one of these colleges, please go to www.ct.edu/foundation/scholarships or stop at the hall. We will have...

The Golf Committee has decided to cancel the Annual Local 35 I.B.E.W. Andy Weigert-Ted Martocchio Memorial Golf Tournament this year. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they felt it was in the best interest of all those involved to follow the recommendations to maintain social distancing. Hope to see everyone again in 2021.

It is important to distinguish between the human Right to Work, as it pertains to basic human rights, and the latest proposals in Connecticut. Organized electricians join the working men and women across America in fighting this attempt to artificially lower our wages by placing tradesmen and women who have organized at a distinct disadvantage.
